So it’s been a minute since I’ve told you what’s going on behind the scenes in my every day life…
I’m not sure if I’ve told you all this, but, my mother is originally from Berkley, MI (it’s near Detroit).
A lot of my family still lives in Michigan so we visit as often as we can.
If you remember from my post about my grandfather, he passed away back in February. And we had the whole family come back this week for a ceremony at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. He was a very proud Vet who served in the Korean War. So it was a fitting final resting place.
It was beautiful.
In the days after we’ve spent our time hanging out with family.
Something you should know about me is that I LOVE spending time with my family. They’re a bunch of nuts and it’s seriously the best time every time I’m with them.
I was able to explore more parts of Michigan during this trip, one of wish I cannot wait to tell you about! I walked up and down Nine Mile in Ferndale. They have the coolest little shops. The post for my experience at Greenspace Cafe should be up in a couple of days.
It’s Labor Day and I woke up early to go do some yoga on the beach. I’ve realized that I don’t really like doing yoga in a public setting unless it’s a class. It’s awkward.
But yoga is something I’ve been totally obsessing over lately. It’s changed my life. I can relax and strengthen my body at the same time. It’s really just ideal for me.
Anyway. I’m currently trying to plan out my life.
For those of you who saw this post about my Panama trip, I’ve decided to put that plan on hold for a little while. It’s definitely something that I want to do eventually. I realized that I would really love to start a business of some sort. Something I can grow and call my own.
Figuring out what it would be is the hard part.
I’m in complete and utter denial that summer is coming to an end. I love fall but, summer is when I come alive.
I have a feeling the end of summer will be memorable however, because…
Stevie Nicks in 6 days!! I’m beyond stoked.
Keep an eye for a post on my night with Miss Stevie!
